Volcano VR2 — the most universal model in the VR line. Power 8-50 kW, airflow 4850 m³/h, 2-row heat exchanger, AC motor 280 W. A balanced solution for most industrial tasks: warehouses, workshops, service stations, mid-size shops — 400-600 m².

Where Volcano VR2 fits

Industrial workshops 400-600 m² with ceilings up to 6 m, warehouses with normal insulation, auto service stations, car washes and tyre shops, large stores and showrooms. This is our best-selling model in Kazakhstan thanks to its versatility and price-to-power ratio.

What to know about this model

• 2-row exchanger — optimal balance between thermal power and air resistance. The default solid choice for industrial spaces.
• Jet 22 m horizontal, 11 m vertical — covers most standard warehouse bays.
• Water volume 2.16 dm³ — small, fast warm-up to working mode.
• weight 21,5 kg — install with two people on the standard bracket.
• Noise at max speed ~56 dB(A), at minimum down to 39 dB(A).

VR2 vs neighbour models

VR2 vs VR1: VR2 is more powerful (up to 50 kW vs 30); the 2-row exchanger gives more thermal density. Airflow is slightly lower (4850 vs 5300 m³/h), not critical for square rooms. VR2 is the right pick for spaces 400+ m².

VR2 vs VR3: VR3 has a 3-row exchanger and up to 75 kW. Take VR3 if area is 600+ m², ceilings 6+ m or you're in a -35 °C region. Otherwise VR2 is optimal.

Installation

Standard mount on the included bracket — horizontal or vertical. Water 3/4", we recommend Volcano flexible hoses 1-1.5 m for easier service. Power 230 V single-phase. Speed controller ARW 3.0/2 (5 steps) or wall controller DX — picked per task.

FAQ on Volcano VR2

Is one VR2 enough for a 500 m² workshop?
With standard insulation and ceilings up to 6 m — yes. 50 kW at 80/60 °C carrier delivers comfortable +18 °C in winter across most of Kazakhstan.

What about low-temperature carrier (60/40 °C)?
Power drops by ~40% to ~30 kW. For the same 500 m² in that mode you'd need two VR2 or one VR3.

Is the 22 m jet realistic?
Lab figure at 4 m ceiling and vertical install. Real coverage 15-18 m at 5-6 m ceiling. Louvres are adjustable — you can aim the jet.
