Volcano VR3 — water industrial heater AC, 13-75 kW
Volcano VR3 — the heavy artillery of the VR line. Power 13-75 kW, airflow 5700 m³/h, 3-row heat exchanger, AC motor 450 W. For large spaces 600-1000 m² with tall ceilings and elevated heat loss.
Where Volcano VR3 fits
Large warehouses 600-1000 m², workshops with ceilings up to 7 m, large hangars, sports and exhibition halls, logistics warehouses, machine shops with open gates. VR3 is especially in demand in northern and eastern regions of Kazakhstan — Astana, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk — where winter temperatures hit -30 °C and below.
What to know about this model
- 3-row exchanger — significantly higher heat density than VR2. At the same carrier temperature delivers up to 50% more thermal power.
- Airflow 5700 m³/h — highest among the standard VRs. Big air volume + high thermal power = fast warm-up of large spaces.
- 450 W motor — needs slightly more electricity, proportional to useful power.
- weight 25,5 kg — two-person install on the standard bracket.
- Recommended for ceilings 4-7 m — at lower heights the unit doesn't reach its full potential.
VR3 vs neighbour models
VR3 vs VR2: the key difference is the 3-row exchanger. VR3 outputs up to 75 kW vs 50 for VR2. If you're in Astana, Pavlodar or other cold regions, or have a space over 600 m² — take VR3 with margin. In warmer regions (Almaty, Shymkent) VR2 may be enough.
VR3 vs VR4: VR4 is the new top model with 4-row exchanger and up to 90 kW. VR3 is the proven veteran with great price/power, VR4 is the modern upgrade for large sites 1000+ m². Standard 600-1000 m² workshops — VR3. Hangars and large warehouses — VR4.
Installation
Mounted horizontally (ceiling) or vertically (wall) depending on workshop layout. Water connection 3/4", we recommend 1.5 m flexible hoses for service access. Power 230 V single-phase. For multiple units in one space we recommend a group with a shared HMI controller and touch panel.
FAQ on Volcano VR3
VR3 or 2× VR2 — what's better for an 800 m² workshop?
Depends on shape. For square or near-square — one VR3 in the centre. For elongated/rectangular — 2× VR2 at the edges give more even heating. Two VR2 usually cost more but add redundancy.
Will VR3 cope with -40 °C winter?
With normal insulation — yes. For poorly sealed spaces or frequent gate openings — add a VR-D destratifier for even heat distribution.
Boiler requirements?
The boiler must deliver at least 75 kW per VR3 at peak load. A 60 kW boiler won't unlock VR3's full potential. We size boiler+heater together during selection.
